400G QSFP112 SR8 Overview

The 400G QSFP112 SR8 optical transceiver is a high-performance short-reach optoelectronic module designed for modern data center interconnection. Adopting advanced PAM4 modulation technology and 850nm VCSEL devices, it delivers an aggregated 400Gbps data rate with 8 parallel lanes at 53.125Gbps each. Optimized for multimode fiber transmission, it supports 70m reach on OM3 and 100m on OM4 fiber, perfectly meeting short-distance high-bandwidth demands of intra-data center networks. With compact QSFP112 form factor, hot-pluggable design and MPO-16 connector, the module enables seamless integration and easy maintenance in networking equipment. It features low power dissipation (≤8W), built-in DDM diagnostic function and wide operating temperature range, ensuring stable and reliable operation in harsh data center environments. Compliant with IEEE 802.3bs, QSFP112 MSA and CMIS standards, it offers excellent compatibility and interoperability, making it an ideal solution for cloud computing, AI and high-density data center networking scenarios.
